Rise @ FUMC Madison

T’was the week before Halloween,

And at Picnic Point,

All the members of Rise

Were rockin’ the joint!

Song were being sung,

S’mores toasted with care,

As the young adults watched

the flames rise in the air.

We will meet at church at 7 p.m. (where the parking ramp will be open) and then carpool over to Picnic Point. At Fire Circle #1, we will build our campfire, have a short devotion, make s’mores, and sing our favorite songs with musical accompaniment. We’ll pack up and leave by a quarter to nine to make sure we can get our cars out of the ramp.

There is no need to RSVP; just show up at the church by 7 p.m. to catch the carpool. Please wear closed-toe shoes and tie back long hair — safety first, of course. All you need to bring is a willing spirit and maybe the name of a song or two you would like to sing — sacred and secular music are both welcome.
